Student Training

As part of our comprehensive prevention program for members of the University community, UL Lafayette recommends that all students complete Haven (or Haven Plus) and AlcoholEdu. These online education programs will empower you to make well-informed decisions about issues that affect your years at UL Lafayette and beyond.


  • Go to: and click Register
  • Under Student/Learner, enter the Registration Code that corresponds to your standing to create your EverFi Account.
  • After 45 days you will receive an invitation to complete Part 2 of Haven (or Haven Plus) and AlcoholEdu.

Other Important Information:

  • You will need Internet access and audio capabilities.
  • You may take the course in multiple sittings.
  • The course may include surveys to help personalize your experience and measure participants' attitudes and behaviors. All survey responses are confidential; the school will only receive information about the participant group as a whole and will never see individual answers.
  • Should you experience problems, technical support is available 24/7 and can be accessed from the Help link within the course.

Hearts of Hope

Hearts of Hope provides the survivor with advocacy, counseling, and accompaniment to all medical, forensic, and criminal investigations following an incident of sexual assault or abuse and other related incidents.

Faith House

Faith House provides advocacy, counseling, medical and legal assistance, shelter, safety plans, and accompaniment at hearings for all survivors of interpersonal violence and their children.
